A “Kill Fee” is a charge, typically from a producer to any talent, who fails to show up for her shoot without prior/proper notice. Proper notice is generally 5:00 PM, the night before to the shoot.
For shoots that require purchased flights or hotels reservations, you may be asked to reimburse expenses the producer incurred, due to your unfulfilled commitment.
